The Opportunity

Barengi Gadjin Land Council is the Registered Aboriginal Party for the Wotjobaluk Nations in western Victoria. As a culturally significant organisation with wide-ranging responsibilities, BGLC needed a website that could do far more than simply share information.

Their existing website had grown over time and no longer reflected the organisation’s role, authority, or aspirations. Content was fragmented, navigation was unclear, and important audiences struggled to find the information they needed.

BGLC required a new digital platform that would:

Represent the organisation with cultural integrity

Communicate clearly with multiple audiences

Improve access to key services and information

Strengthen community connection and trust

Reflect BGLC’s leadership and strategic direction

Our Approach

Tucker & Co worked closely with BGLC to redesign the website through a collaborative, community-focused process.

We led:

Stakeholder workshops and audience analysis

Content strategy and information architecture

Website structure and user experience planning

Copywriting and tone-of-voice development

Every decision was guided by deep listening and respect for BGLC’s values, culture, and strategic goals.

The Outcome

The new website delivers:

Clearer navigation and improved user experience

Stronger representation of BGLC’s role and authority

Accessible, audience-focused content

A platform that supports ongoing engagement and communication

The result is a confident digital presence that helps BGLC’s work be better understood, valued, and supported.
